What we collect
Nothing is collected simply by reading this site. We receive personal data only when you choose to write to us: the name, email address, telephone number and whatever you tell us in your message.
Our web host may keep standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and diagnostics.
Why we use it
To answer your enquiry, to design and quote a journey for you, and to keep a record of our correspondence. We do not use your data for automated profiling and we do not sell it.
Legal basis
Your consent when you contact us, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services. Where a journey is agreed, the performance of that contract.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a journey are kept for up to two years. Records relating to a journey we have delivered are kept for the periods required by Spanish commercial and tax law.
Who else sees it
Our email provider and our web host, acting as processors. Where a journey requires it, the specific suppliers involved — a hotel, a guide, a transfer company — receive only what is necessary to deliver that service. No data is transferred outside the EEA except under the safeguards permitted by the GDPR.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Your language choice is stored in your browser and never leaves your device.
If we add analytics in future, this policy will be updated and consent will be requested before any non-essential cookie is set.
Your rights
You may request access to your data, its correction or erasure, restriction of or objection to its processing, and its portability, by writing to info@bykexperience.com.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, www.aepd.es).
